We’ve enjoyed 2 Windjammer cruises in
the past – The British Virgin Isles and The Grenadines.
They’re great vacations since their ships hold only about 100 people and
they visit ports of call that the larger cruise ships can't get in to.
This time we’re heading to the ABC Islands - that’s
Aruba,
Bonaire, Curaçao and Klein
Curaçao. In Aruba the ornate
and colorful Dutch colonial architecture of the port towns will
transport you back to Europe. You’ll find the finest white sand beaches on earth as well as
world class casinos and nightlife.
Bonaire is known as one of the
top dive destinations in the world. The underwater visibility is
excellent and the coral reefs are absolutely stunning! Hundreds
of North and South American species migrate here, like the pink
flamingo which congregate in the thousands by the salt ponds. In
Curacao, where the homes and buildings are brightly colored, we'll experience
the Floating Market where neighboring Venezuelan fishermen tie-up
their boats and sell tropical delicacies. Finally in Klein Curacao we’ll
enjoy water the color of light-blue eyes and white sandy beaches. It’s
the perfect little island for lounging and beachcombing. There is
shore-access diving, and the snorkeling is excellent. So let’s
get a fun group of travelers together for this one! Cost is $1,100 for
the cruise, which includes all port charges. This is for the standard
cabins. Upgrades are also available. $200 deposit. To read more about

Here's more from the
Windjammer Website:
Eureka! We’ve found the perfect cruising
grounds for Polynesia. The ornate and colorful Dutch colonial
architecture of the port towns will transport you back to Europe. The
trade winds that fill windsurfers’ sails also cool a landscape that
looks more like the American Southwest than the tropics. Cacti, aloe
vera, and wind-sculpted trees blanket the desert floor, but that’s not
all; boulders and wild orchids add to this unique natural collage.
Birds thrive here. Hundreds of North and South American species swap
migrating tales as they feed on tropical nectars and cactus fruit. The
most regal are the pink flamingos that congregate in the thousands by
the salt ponds. And the beaches? You’ll find the finest white sand on
earth…and the best diving and snorkeling in the entire Caribbean. Strict
laws protect a reef system that supports more than 1,000 species of
marine life. With minimal rain and run-off, underwater visibility is
excellent and the corals reefs are absolutely stunning!

Aruba Tours
& Excursions
People come here for the diving because it’s simply out-of-this-world!
The countryside is more like our Southwest, filled with cacti, wild
orchids, boulders, wind-swept trees and birds. Legacy’s homeport of
Oranjestad is a marvel of Dutch-inspired architecture. And, if that
doesn’t float your boat, check out one of the many gorgeous beaches. For
the party animal in your midst, there are world-class casinos and
nightclubs.
Bonaire Tours
& Excursions
Welcome to a natural gold mine! Her shoreline is an intriguing collage
of lava formations, grottos and caves. One of the top dive destinations
in the world, divers and snorkelers are awestruck by the marine life and
corals that thrive along the coastline. For landlubbers and bird
watchers, this is also one of the best islands for viewing migrating
birds and flocks
of pink flamingos.

Curaçao Tours
& Excursions
The island’s Dutch heritage is evident at Willemstad, where the brightly
colored architecture mimics the style, though not the drab colors, of
Amsterdam. A ‘must see’ is the Floating Market where neighboring
Venezuelan fishermen tie-up their boats and sell tropical delicacies
under festive awnings. What tropical liqueur adds the blue hue to exotic
drinks? Yup, you guessed it! Blue Curaçao is made here.
Klein Curaçao
Imagine water the color of light-blue eyes and white sandy beaches
framed by desert foliage. Well, dream no longer because Klein Curacao is
the perfect little island for lounging and beachcombing. There is
shore-access diving, and the snorkeling is excellent.
