We had an amazing time last
April on this trip and so many people who heard how good it was have
been asking us to repeat it, so here it is.
Bali is not only a beautiful place with it’s greenery, gardens, palaces,
beaches and terraced rice fields, it is the peaceful people who will
win your heart and have been bringing people here for years. It is
voted by the readers of all major travel magazines as the most
enchanting travel and holiday destination in the whole world.
Beautifully dressed women walk proudly through rice fields and forests
carrying offerings on their heads to the next temple. Gods and spirits
have been an important part of
Bali’s daily life for hundreds of years. Gunung Agung –
Bali’s holy mountain – is
internationally regarded as one of the eight “Chakra” points of the
world. We will fly out on the evening of April 27st (1 a.m.) and arrive on the
29th for this 9-night
trip.
There are an abundance of interesting tours and activities to
be had in Bali that will keep each day interesting.
Temples, volcanoes, forests with
monkeys, snorkeling, river rafting (one of the best!), scuba diving, experiencing a Balinese dance
show, golfing, tennis, cruise to nearby Nusa Penida and Nusa
Lembongan islands off the South-East coast are just some of the many
things to do and see in Bali. All of our tours were great on the last trip. Or, just relax, and we’ve got the perfect hotel to do that at and hence
the “luxury” part of this headline.
We will be staying at the 5-star
Intercontinental Hotel on
Jimbaran
Beach. This hotel is rated #1 in
this beautiful area (go to
tripadvisor.com to read all the glowing reviews) and offers
facilities, pools and services beyond belief. It’s an awesome hotel on
the best beach with the best sunsets in all of
Bali.
All rooms have a private balcony or terrace with views over the large
gardens with lagoons, cascades and ornamental pools. The Marine
Sports Centre offers a wonderful choice of water sports, there are
three swimming pools, and three
outdoor
Jacuzzis in the gardens, as well as the health club, Uluwatu Spa.
One of
the other nice things about Bali is, it’s inexpensive. You can get a car and driver to take you
around for a full day for less than $50! Food, drinks, massages,
cool clothes and souvenirs are a bargain! We'll have 9-nights to tour
and relax. We received a terrific group rate on both the air and hotel
to bring you savings of hundreds of dollars on this one. Cost,
with the air, hotel, daily breakfast and all ground transportation is
just $1,998. We could have booked a lesser hotel but for not that
much more we’ll be living it up in style. Price does not include
departure taxes/ fuel surcharge which are running $170 and subject to
change. Room upgrades are also available. Don’t miss this amazing trip.
